Located in the centre of Ballyferriter Village, Ceann Sibéal Hotel is within walking distance of Smerwick Harbour and the Dingle Way. This 3-Star Hotel has 26 bedrooms and is approved by Fáilte Ireland.
Having opened in 2004, the hotel is modern in design with all of the bedrooms being spacious and newly decorated. Depending on the room, some have views over Smerwick Harbour and the Atlantic Ocean, the Three Sisters, Sybil Head or Mount Brandon.
Food is served at the hotel's restaurant and bar. Bar an Bhuailtín serves food from 12.30 to 20.30 each day. A strong emphasis is put on fresh fish and locally sourced ingredients. Traditional music can be enjoyed at the bar every Saturday night and on other evenings of the week during July and August.
Walkers who are looking to spend more than one day in the area will find plenty of activities around Ballyferriter. The Dingle Peninsula Heritage and Archaeological Museum is in the centre of the village. Several important heritage sites are also close by, including An Riasc, Gallarus and Kilmalkedar. Other walks in the vacinity include the Cosán na Naomh and the Pilgrims Route.
