Mount Brandon Lodge is a family-run bed and breakfast on the very edge of Cloghane. All the amenities that the village has to offer are just a stroll up the street. The house faces out onto Brandon Bay and has Mount Brandon as a backdrop.
The bed and breakfast is approved by Fáilte Ireland. Guest bedrooms have all got an ensuite with a shower. Each room also has a television and tea & coffee making facilities. The house and garden are well-maintained and the seating area outside allows guests to enjoy the view and the flowers.
Guests wishing to stay several days in Cloghane can enquire about a self-catering cottage in the village that is available to rent. Please email the Fitzgerald's for details.
Bicycles are available to hire in Cloghane and relaxed ride out to the lakes beneath the famous "Conor Pass Road" comes highly recommended. Another alternative is to get a horse-drawn jaunting car to see the lakes. The journey passes one of the last few remaining blanket bogs in Europe.
