Located on the edge of Cloghane and on the Dingle Way, Mount Brandon Hostel is approved by Fáilte Ireland. The hostel is joined to a shop that has Internet access and a postal service. There is also a pub next door that serves bar food and has frequent traditional irish music sessions.
There is a large variety in room types in Mount Brandon Hostel, ranging from twin rooms up to 6 bed dormitories. Bed linen is included in the price and all rooms have an ensuite. There is also an apartment that sleeps four people for those wishing to spend a little longer exploring the area.
The hostel kitchen has a large food preparation area with plenty of utensils. There are both electric and gas stoves and fridges and freezers. The dining room has views out over Brandon Bay and the guest lounge also has sea-views and a large open fire.
Camping is permitted outside the hostel for €9 per person. This entitles full use of the hostel facilities, including showers.
