Passenger Ferries to Ireland

Port of Cork

The west of Ireland does not receive any scheduled passenger ferries from Continental Europe. The Port of Cork is the nearest ferry destination to Tralee, at a distance of around 120km away.

Brittany Ferries sail once a week from Cork to Roscoff, in the north-west of France.

Rosslare Harbour

Rosslare Harbour can be found in the south-east corner of Ireland. It is a distance of around 280km from Tralee. If offers more options for passengers coming from both Wales and France.

Stena Line have daily sailings to Fishguard. Irish Ferries also run a daily service to Pembroke and frequent sailings to Cherbourg and Roscoff. Celtic Link Ferries have several sailings a week to Cherbourg.

Dublin Port and Dún Laoghaire Harbour

Both Dublin Port and Dún Laoghaire Harbour are located on the edges of Ireland's Capital. Tralee is around 300km from Dublin.

Stena Line have daily sailings from both Dublin Port and Dún Laoghaire to Holyhead. Irish Ferries also have a daily service from Dublin Port to Holyhead and Norfolk Line have frequent sailings from Dublin Port to Birkenhead, Liverpool.

Ports of Belfast and Larne

The Ports of Belfast and Larne are located in the far north-east of Ireland and are over 450km away from Tralee. There are several ferries linking Northern Ireland to both Scotland and England.

Stena Line operate daily services from Belfast to Stranraer and from Larne to Fleetwood. Norkfolk Line have sailings each day between Belfast and Birkenhead, Liverpool.
