An Bóthar is an amalgamation of a guest house, restaurant and pub and rests at the foot of Mount Brandon and is the last stop-off point for the Dingle Way walker before the ascent to the highest point on the trail. The establishment also marks the final 10km inland stretch of the famous Slea Head Drive to Dingle.

The guest house has received 3 star approval by Fáilte Ireland. Bedrooms are all ensuite (most with bath and shower), television and direct dial telephone. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the Guest Lounge, where there is also a selection of books on the local area.

Bar food is available throughout the day and evening meals are served in the restaurant from 6-9pm. Special efforts are made to source ingredients locally with lamb reared on local farms, fish that has been caught by local fishermen and some of the vegetables grown in the back garden. A packed lunch is also available for Dingle Way walkers.
