Coill an Róis (Forest of the Roses) is located on the Dingle Way and at the foot of Mount Brandon. The house is in a tranquil setting, surrounded by farmland.
The Bed and Breakfast is approved by Fáilte Ireland and has been awarded three stars. There are four bedrooms in total, all of which are ensuite. In addition to this, guests have access to a shared bathroom with an 8-jet Jacuzzi. Each bedroom has a flat screen television showing the national Saorview stations.
The popularity of Coill an Róis has been founded on the quality of the food served. Having worked at Corney and Barrow in London and as a pastry chef in Harbour Lights Restaurant in Manhattan, Jimmy Bruic returned back to Kerry to set up his dream Bed and Breakfast. Jimmy is happy to share his knowledge and can give baking classes and provide recipies to guests.
With enough advance notice to buy in fresh ingredients, Jimmy can also be persuaded to cook an evening meal. This can be something light like a bowl of soup and some sandwiches or a three course meal with tea and coffee. Packed lunches can also be prepared with some notice for walkers on the Dingle Way.
In addition to receiving numerous Trip Advisor Certificates of Excellence, Coill an Róis has twice been Trip Advisor's Traveller's Choice Winner in both 2015 and 2019
